The Study Desk ("we", "us") provides academic help and support services. We are based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and serve students in the UK, USA and worldwide. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +44 7446 971020.
2. What we collect
- Your name and WhatsApp number.
- Details you share about your request: brief, rubric, deadline, subject and level.
- Files you send us, such as assignment instructions or your notes.
- Payment details needed to confirm your payment. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
- Basic website usage data (pages visited, device type) if analytics or advertising cookies are enabled.
3. How we use it
- To quote, match you with a suitable expert and provide the support you asked for.
- To communicate with you about your request.
- To process payment and keep basic records.
- To improve our website and measure our advertising.
We never sell your personal data.
4. Who we share it with
Only with the people and services needed to help you: the expert assigned to your request (who receives your brief and files, not your contact details), our payment provider, and WhatsApp (Meta) as the messaging platform. If you accept cookies, our website may use analytics and advertising tools such as Meta Pixel.
5. Confidentiality
We never share your name, university or files with anyone outside our team, and we never publish or reuse your materials.
6. How long we keep it
We delete your files 30 days after your request is completed. We keep basic payment records for as long as UAE law requires.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time, or to stop using it for marketing. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll respond within 30 days. We handle personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). If you live in the UK or EU, you also have rights under the UK GDPR or EU GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you live in the USA, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law.
8. International transfers
Because we're based in the UAE and our experts may work from other countries, your data may be processed outside the country where you live. We only share what's needed and protect it with confidentiality commitments.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
